Image used under creative commons from weesam2010
Today we are going to make a visual connection to the book (my image is from the very end from a part that I found both scary and beautiful, but I won't spoil it for you yet).
Using Flickr creative commons search, find an image that is a visual representation of any point in the book. It can be a literal connection or a symbolic connection. Write a paragraph that explains which part of the book the image connects with and why you made the made the connection. This explanation should be clear. Try to provide enough details to make your reader see your connection.
On your blog post, you will need to share your image and the attribution.
What is Creative Commons?
Creative Commons is a system that photographers can use to license photos for use by others. YOu can use these images without being in breech of copyright. Although there are different types of licences, if you are not going to alter the image, you simply need to give credit as I did in the above image. If you click on the image, then click on the caption box, you can add your citation/attribution there. You need only to put the flickr user name.
How do I find Creative Commons images?
THe best place is Flickr.
After you click search, you need to click on "Advanced Search" then scroll down to the bottom of the page (see image below) and tick the box that says "Only Search within Creative Commons" and click search again.
